Save the Mom is a web app that can be pretty useful for today's working moms. It is offered in an English and an Italian version. Through use of this app, moms can have access to a family dashboard that makes it easy for families to communicate with one another through the Internet. Also there is a shared calendar where families can control and see the appointments of the other family members all in one space. Families can also manage an interactive shopping list so nothing is forgotten in that week's shopping trip. Save the Mom incorporates geolocation tools so moms can see the movements of their families and track the places where they've been. Save the mom works on mobile devices, iOS and the web. The app offers a free trial to users so they can try the app and see if it works for them before they subscribe and pay for it.Show more screenshots »
Save the Mom is an Italian startup company. It is supported by a team of 5 employees. The app was co-founded by Marco Gafforini, Sara Baroni and Davide Dattoli. The app was developed in 2011.
Save the Mom has very cute avatars that the family members can create so that they can make the application their own. The shopping list has icons of the food items so even the kids can use the interactive shopping list and indicate what they would like purchased. While the shared calendars, lists and other items could be created elsewhere, Save the Mom bundles these apps all in one. It also uses geolocations so moms can see where their family members have been over time.
Save the Mom is a great-looking and easy to use site. It really can help make a mom's life easier through its features. The avatars and icons that it uses helps make it family-friendly as well.
New users can sign up for Facebook or by entering in their data. Save the Mom requests the following information from its new users in order to setup an account: username, email, password, family name, choose their role and to accept the STM terms and conditions.
Save the Mom is being offered for free for 3 months (as of May 2012). The fees for Save the Mom after the 3 month subscription are not published
Save the Mom could be useful for busy moms and families to stay organized. If the other family members are somewhat tech-savvy this could be a very handy tool. We just wish that Save the Mom could publish their costs so it could be determined if its a truly valuable app or not.
